Fifteen minutes from downtown Vancouver by car. Twenty by shuttle. The North Shore is a single bridge crossing away.
The park sits on the western bank of the Capilano River, a few minutes north of Marine Drive. The entrance is well signed from Capilano Road; you cannot miss the totems out front.
A complimentary park shuttle from downtown — the simplest way to skip parking, traffic, and the bridge bottleneck.

Return shuttles run from the park entrance approximately every twenty minutes, 10:30 am – 7:30 pm.
Head west on Georgia Street, up the Stanley Park causeway, and over the Lions Gate Bridge. Take the North Vancouver exit to Marine Drive. Turn left, then up Capilano Road for 1.6 km.

Free overflow at Handsworth School and the Connaught Building underground lot during peak summer days, with a complimentary park-bound shuttle.
TransLink connects every part of Metro Vancouver to the North Shore. The crossing is part of the trip — the SeaBus passes Stanley Park and the harbour every fifteen minutes.
SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay, then bus 236 from the bus loop. Drop-off is at the park entrance. Roughly 35 minutes door to door.
Bus 232, exit at Edgemont Boulevard and Capilano Road, walk a few minutes uphill to the entrance.
Bus 246 from Granville or Burrard SkyTrain stations. Exit at Ridgewood Drive and Norcross Way, walk north on Capilano Road.
